Business Consultant

Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and proactive ERP Business Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of ERP implementation projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, training, and post-go-live support. This role requires close collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and user adoption. The consultant should be willing to travel to customer sites as needed.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Meet with clients to understand their business processes and gather detailed functional requirements.

  • Conduct business process analysis and identify gaps that can be addressed with Odoo ERP solutions.

  • Document functional requirements and create process workflows where necessary.

2. System Design & Configuration

  • Design solutions based on client needs, aligning them with Odoo’s modules and capabilities.

  • Configure Odoo applications and workflows to match business requirements.

  • Customize forms, reports, and dashboards as needed (in collaboration with the technical team).

3. Implementation & Testing

  • Plan and execute Odoo ERP implementations according to the project scope and timeline.

  • Create test cases and perform system testing to ensure the solution meets client expectations.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients and gather feedback for refinements.

4. Training & Documentation

  • Prepare training materials and deliver functional training sessions to end-users.

  • Support user onboarding and help them become proficient with the new system.

  • Create comprehensive user documentation and user manuals tailored to the client’s processes.

5. Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support

  • Assist with data migration, system go-live, and initial stabilization.

  • Provide post-go-live support to address user queries, bugs, or adjustments.

6. Client Communication & Site Visits

  • Maintain continuous communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Visit customer sites for workshops, training, testing, and support, as needed.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on best practices and system optimization.

7. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and deliverables.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, demos, and client presentations when required.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of business processes in one or more domains (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to travel to client sites as required.
